Jon and Sally Truax founded Truax Printing in Loudonville, Ohio in 1966. After serving in the United States military during the Korean Conflict, Jon returned to north central Ohio. His start in the printing business was working for the legendary Flxible Bus Company’s in-house print shop.

Jon and Sally began Truax Printing as a two-person operation providing commercial print services for other local vendors in Jon’s off-hours from his job at Flxible Bus Company. When he decided to go full-time to focus 100% of his energy on his growing private business, Flxible shuttered its in-house shop and took all their work to the new Founded Truax Printing, Inc.

We began as a small commercial print shop and newspaper. Jon and Sally founded the Loudonville Shopper, a free paper, and later also bought the local weekly, The Loudonville Times. They sold both newspapers in 1996 to focus on the printing operation.

Over time, we grew into a true full-service commercial print shop and book printer. We continue to be a family-owned-and-operated business and we have never lost sight of taking care of the customer first.

We maintain high standards of quality and service and provide our customers with excellent printing, at competitive prices, with on time delivery. Our high standards have led to us maintaining an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau® as a BBB Accredited Business®.

We are a civic-minded member of our community, sponsoring Mohican Area Community Fund, United Way in Ashland Ohio, Loudonville Mohican Chamber of Commerce, Loudonville and Ashland Youth Sports, Local Food Pantrys, Loudonville-Perrysville Music Boosters, Loudonville Livestock Club, and the Hope Childrens Home. We are also yearly boosters to the Ashland and Loudonville High School sports teams.
